Structural Modifications and Makeover
This young family thrives in their view home on the water and they wanted to modify their main floor so they could appreciate the water view from every point of their great room. Removal of two load bearing walls and installation of a 24’ steel beam achieved their goal. The third floor master bedroom and tiled bathroom survived the transition without a single popped tile. After the beam was in place we did some needed electrical work, repaired the walls, painted and a new wood floor was installed. Only a single post separates the kitchen from the dining room. The clients enjoy this new space every day with their large circle of friends and family.
