Kitchen and Breakfast Nook Makeover

This home commands an amazing view of the Cascades and Lake Washington. We replaced a 3′ window with a 10’ window in the kitchen opening the room to more of the view. This older home needed new electrical and plumbing along with correcting out of plumb walls and floors. We custom made the cabinets and had new wood flooring installed. The kitchen, breakfast nook, dining room and hallway received a fresh coat of paint and flooring bringing this complete to-the-studs remodel into this decade.

Our new kitchen has little more floor space than previously, but feels much bigger now, with better light and much more useful cabinetry. The oak floor and the stone countertops are gorgeous. The lines in the kitchen are clean, and everything fits together with fine craftsmanship. Best of all, we felt that the entire process felt like a collaboration.
